We began constructing our bridges yesterday. Each group was given a small amount of money to “purchase” supplies. We will use our designs to construct a bridge that can hold mass. The bridge that holds the most wins.
During our medieval unit, we made poultice mixtures and solutions to simulate what might have been made in the medieval times. People did not have access to the medicine that we do today. Poultices were one of the treatments that were used for their medical issues.
Students did a great job presenting their 20% projects. I am so proud of what they learned during the first semester. Many parents were able to attend. I am looking forward to their solutions to their problems.
Today we are working on our presentation. Finishing touches. Qr codes, screenleap, etc.
